Jim Downing is a senior member of the team at Carmody Moran Solicitors LLP. He is a highly skilled conveyancer with broad residential and commercial expertise. He has a wealth of knowledge from his twenty years plus experience working in the legal field making him a private client specialist.
As well as conveyancing, Jim works in the areas of estate and future planning, wills and probate, landlord and tenant matters, and family law and employment law litigation. He has a friendly and approachable style that is supported by his considerable legal experience and his common sense approach. He specialises in property law and probate law. Jim ensures that all cases are excellently managed and progress smoothly to achieve their best outcomes with top-level communication throughout each and every transaction.
Jim is based both in our Mount Street Office and our Blanchardstown Office and can meet clients at either location.
He gained significant legal experience gained working with private client firms in Dublin such as Lawlor O’Reilly & Co. Solicitors and Carey Solicitors, as well as FBD Insurance, before joining the Carmody Moran team.
In his spare time, Jim is an avid sports fan and is a member of St Jude’s GAA in Templeogue, Dublin 6w. He also enjoys music and travel.
