Niamh is a highly experienced advocate who brings her personal values of ethics, honesty, and transparency to her practice as a lawyer. She has a particular interest in family law. She is highly regarded for her work in this area and is frequently recommended by colleagues for her specialisation in family law. Niamh also manages the Estate Planning or Property and Probate divisions of the practice. She is a regular contributor to print media and other communications.

Niamh qualified as a solicitor in 2001 and subsequently established her own practice in 2005 before merging to form Carmody Moran Solicitors in 2010. She is a member of the Mental Health Commission’s panel of chairpersons, a quasi-judicial role. Niamh has significant experience in working as a solicitor for vulnerable adults and their families in litigation matters, wills and probate, and future legal planning such as enduring powers of attorney (EPAs) and the new Assisted Decision Making legislation.

Niamh is the lead contact on our membership of the international AEA grouping.
